High pressure, electrically heated vertical steam sterilizer is used for sterilization of surgical instruments, dressing material, linen, rubber, and plastic material by means of saturated steam under pressure of 5 to 20 pounds/sq. inch (PSI) which is adjustable. Apart from health services, it is also used in scientific research institutions and universities.
Sturdy double-walled construction with boiler/inner chamber made of stainless steel sheet. The outer body is made of a mild steel sheet duly powder-coated. The lid is made of a stainless steel plate with a pedal lifting arrangement and radial locking device.
The instrument is fitted with a pressure switch to control the pressure of the chamber. The sterilizer is fitted with water level arrangements to indicate the water position inside the boiler, pressure gauge, Air/steam release valve, safety valve, and drain. A high-quality immersion-type heating element heats the water and steam to the desired temperature and pressure. The instrument is supplied complete with a Stainless Steel basket, cord, and plug.
The instrument is designed to operate on a 220V AC Supply (Model with 110V also available).
